Established in 2016, the Polish Institute of Credit Management (PICM) is an educational andnetworking platform for managing receivables and trade credit in an enterprise (Credit Managers).The PICM offer help in shaping the key competences of the trade receivables manager.

PICM aims to perform activities for building, promoting and propagating the idea of broadly understood Corporate Credit Management. PICM provides education in the field of preparation for the profession and continuous improvementof qualifications for the proper performance of Corporate Credit Management.

Ludo Theunissen, FECMA President, President of the Instituut voor Kredietmanagement (IvKM)

Ludo Theunissen holds degrees in engineering (Ghent University) and Management (Vlerick Business School). In his career he combined academic and business assignments. He has worked for large multinational organizations (Volkswagen, Unisys) as well as for SME’s in Belgium and abroad. He is founder and president of the Instituut voor Kredietmanagement, the Belgian association for Credit managers, and an active member of the FECMA council. He is professor at Ghent University and has also been active as a professor at Vlerick Business School, Antwerp Management School and the Belgian Royal Military Academy. He is active as a consultant and lecturer in different countries on topics such as Financial Statement Analysis, Credit Management, Investment analysis.



Josef Busuttil, MBA (Henley), Dip. M MCIM, FCICM, Director of Malta Association of Credit Management (MACM)

Josef was involved in the setting up of the Malta Association of Credit Management (MACM – www.macm.org.mt) and is the Director of MACM. He has been a member of the Council of FECMA since May 2003. After twelve years occupying the role of FECMA Vice President, Josef was elected President of FECMA in November 2016. Josef is an intuitive lecturer and speaker, specialising in trade credit management strategies that enable the credit function to gain and sustain competitive advantage in the market, whilst ensuring sound cash flow and long-term profit. He delivers in-house training and lectures for organised groups. Josef contributed to a number of training programmes and seminars organised by highly reputable international organisations and institutions, such as The European Commission, in a number of countries, including Antwerp, Berlin, Bucharest, Dubai, Dublin, Johannesburg, Kuala Lumpur, London, Madrid, Malta, Mexico City, Moscow, Paris, and Vilnius. Josef is a regular contributor of business articles to the international business press.



John Lorié, Chief Economist at Atradius Credit Insurance

John Lorié is Chief Economist at Atradius Credit Insurance, having joined the company in April 2011. He is also affiliated to the University of Amsterdam as a researcher.

Previously, he was Senior Vice President at ABN AMRO, where he worked for more than 20 years in a variety of roles in commercial and investment banking. He started his career in the finance department of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

John holds a PHD in international economics, masters’ degrees in economics (honours) and tax economics as well as a bachelor’s degree in marketing.



Eefje Van Craen, Head of Risk Solutions CEE, Bureau van Dijk – A Moody’s Analytics Company

Eefje joined Bureau van Dijk's Brussels office in January 2012.

Eefje has specific expertise in helping organisations streamline their risk management processes. She is a permanent member of our global product group for credit risk management where Eefje provides ongoing market feedback to ensure Bureau van Dijk’s product development strategy meets the evolving needs of today’s risk management professionals.

Eefje holds a degree in Commercial/Business Engineering from Vrije Universiteit Brussel.



Przemysław Kwiecień, PhD, CFA,  Head of Research at X-trade Brokers DM S.A

PhD of Economics at the University of Warsaw, graduate of London Metropolitan University on a British Council scholarship, licensed Investment Advisor. For years, Chief Economist of the XTB brokerage house, previously incl. advisor to the Minister of Finance. Repeatedly awarded with the titles of Economist and Analyst of the Year, and also distinguished as the best forecasting currency rates in Bloomberg's global rankings. He currently uses BigData methods in his work, both in market analysis and business analysis. Regular guest of television and radio programs on economic issues.



Piotr Rybicki,  nadzorkorporacyjny.pl, PICM Advisory Council

Statutory auditor, specializes in corporate finance, reporting, corporate governance and creative accounting. He has experience as a vice-president of the management board for financial matters in a publicly listed companies, and sits on supervisory boards. Lecturer at courses for candidates for supervisory board members, initiator of the "Supervisory Board Conference" and "Corporate Governance Man" awards, as well as a promoter of professional supervisory boards, Vice President of the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Katowice, Member of the Board of Experts of the University of Business in Dąbrowa Górnicza, Expert of the Association Individual Investors, runs the portal nadzorkorporacyjny.pl.



Michał Rączkowski, Managing Partner at RK Legal (member of EuroCollectNet)

Managing Partner of RK Legal. Michał Rączkowski benefits from many years of experience in providing ongoing legal assistance to business entities. Apart from his other occupations, he supervises the firm’s co-operation with financial institutions in connection with their mass recovery efforts. He specializes in court disputes, having for many years successfully represented clients in compensation cases relating to non-performance or inadequate performance of a contract.

Michał Kwieciński, Managing Partner at RK Legal (member of EuroCollectNet)

Managing Partner of RK Legal. Michał Kwieciński advises on transformations, mergers and take-overs. Supervises legal audits. Conducts business litigation, including board-member liability. Michał Kwieciński is a specialist in commercial and insolvency law. His rich experience is owed to many years spent in the service of companies and public corporations. He holds a Ministry of Treasury licence to sit on supervisory boards of state-owned companies. From June 2018 until January 2020 Member of the Board of the Polish Debt-Recovery Association. Sits on the November Credit & Collection Days 2015 conference. Speaker and panellist for acclaimed conferences. Experienced in preparing and teaching specialist training courses for clients and industry organizations.



Glen Bullivant, FCICM, UK

Glen Bullivant FCICM is a Vice President & Treasurer of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management and currently works as a credit management consultant.
Involved with credit for over 40 years, he has worked in manufacturing, engineering and service industries, including export.
Glen has been a member of the CICM for more than 30 years and, in additionto being a past Chairman of the Institute, also chairs its Technical Advisory Committee, serves on its Education Committee and is Editor of the Federation of the European Credit Management Associations (FECMA) newsletter.


Dr. Thomas Voller, EuroCollectNet

Thomas is as a lawyer admitted to the courts in Frankfurt am Main since 1982. He worked for large law firms in Frankfurt before establishing his own practice in 1987. He represents domestic and foreign companies both in and out of court in all areas of business law including international debt collection. He has his focus on national and international commercial and corporate law including the respective training as special attorney for these areas of law.

In recent years the professional activity has been focused increasingly on the credit management of his clients. This includes the membership in “Bundesverband Kreditmanagement e.V. (Federal Association of Credit management). He is editor of publications as “Outlines of Debt Collection in Europe” or “Creditmanagement: Securities in Europe”.

Thomas is the founder of EuroCollectNet, a European lawyer’s network for debt collection with worldwide connections.



Chantal Loose, Business Development Director, Strategic Partnerships - Stenn International Ltd.

Chantal Joosse is Business Development Director, Strategic Partnerships at Stenn International, a UK-based based provider of innovative cross-border trade finance solutions.

Chantal has 20 years of experience in helping companies grow and protect their international business. She previously held senior management roles in both Europe and the United States at global trade credit insurers Atradius and Coface.

At Stenn, Chantal’s main focus is developing relationships within the global trade finance community to bring Stenn’s trade finance solutions to companies of all sizes. Chantal is based in Amsterdam.


Vincent Bruno-Larger, CEO at l’As sociation Française Des Credit Managers et Conseils (AFDCC), France

Vincent-Bruno LARGER is the CEO of the AFDCC, the french credit management association. Previously, he worked at Euler, the credit-insurance company, Thomson Multimédia, a leading manufacturer for electronic products as European Credit Manager and Eutelsat, the telecommunication via satellite company as Credit Manager.
He has a Master in Law at the University of Dijon, a diploma at the Business School Le Havre/Caen and a Master in International Business at the Wollongong University (Australia).


Cees Jansen, Nederlandse Vereniging voor Credit Management (VVCM), Netherlands

Cees Jansen has over 25 years experience in Credit Management in a variety of forms ranging from factoring to credit insurance to BPO and E-Commerce. He has designed specialized solutions focusing on receivables including captive credit insurance, securitization and stand-by servicing programs and financial demand generation tools. Cees has developed Operating models for the O2C operations of global companies in Retail, Consumer Goods and Logistics which combined protecting good customer relations with the need to operate an effective and efficient delivery team. Prior to his involvement in Credit Management, Cees has worked in Banking and Finance as a Credit Officer.
